My Secret Society co-conspirators and I are proud to join inaugural Spring Revolution festival at Brooklyn’s most talked-about new music venue, National Sawdust. We appear Thursday, March 10 (doors at 6:00 PM, show at 7:00 PM sharp). The centerpiece of our set will be “Tensile Curves,” a 40-minute meditation on Duke Ellington’s “Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue” — the performance of which famously caused utter pandemonium at the 1956 Newport Jazz Festival. Our set will also include some rarely-performed deep cuts from the Secret Society vaults, alongside more recent unrecorded work.
