One of my favorite types of video is the one where an artist pulls physical media from a library and talks about the art that inspires them — you know, like the Criterion Collection Closet Picks. So I was absolutely thrilled to participate in the Nonesuch Records version of this, Nonesuch Selects. I got to talk about some of the 90s releases that were very import to me during my formative years, plus a more recent pick, a late-career masterpiece from a well-known but still under-appreciated songwriter.
